Keropon (ケロポン) is a crocodile-like character who only appears in Adolescence of Utena.
Personality and Appearance[]
Keropon is completely red except for his eyes, he has a round body with short legs, and he has a long snout that resembles that of a crocodile. His snout can elongate as seen in the video tape. He has no tail, but has a long red string of skin coming out of his belly, resembling an umbilical cord. Not much is known about his personality, according to Kunihiko Ikuhara's audio commentary on the movie, ''Rather than a rival, he's more of a nemesis.''
Background[]
Keropon's origin is not delved into, except for the fact that he is Chu-Chu's nemesis. He only appears in the movie. He is first seen as a drawing Shiori Takatsuki draws on the back of Touga Kiryuu, and is later seen as a living creature in F-ko's first scandalous tape, in a tiny scene where he suffocates Nanami Kiryuu in her cow form, and eats Chu-Chu in the end of the scene.
